We employ approximately 30 flight nurses. There are five full-time at each of our rural bases, plus some additional full-time relief positions.

Flight Nurses are required to have a range of skills and experience including general nursing, midwifery and critical care in addition to broad general nursing skills. Most flight nurses have five to ten years postgraduate experience and an affinity for working in rural areas.
